Downtown Yonge BIA October Fall Fest

 The Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area (DYBIA) is thrilled to announce a series of dynamic initiatives this fall, designed to invite our communities to gather, explore, and celebrate together — to experience the vibrant heartbeat of Downtown Yonge. With a focus on community engagement and economic prosperity, these events will not only draw locals but also entice visitors from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Key Events:

  1. Howl-O-Ween
    Date: Sunday, October 20
    Time: 1 PM – 6 PM
    Bring your furry friends for a day filled with fun activities, contests, and community bonding. Local vendors will offer special promotions, inviting pet owners from near and far to explore Downtown Yonge. 
  2. Halloween Spooktacular
    Date: Thursday, October 31
    Time: 4 PM – 7 PM
    Families with young children are invited to enjoy a day of safe, festive fun, complete with trick-or-treating at participating businesses. This event aims to create lasting memories to the shops and eateries in the neighborhood.
  3. Monster Mash
    Date: Friday, October 25
    Time: 5 PM – 10 PM
    Dance the night away on our eerie dance floor, strike a pose at our spooky photo ops, and enjoy a night filled with surprises around every corner! 
  4. Fall / Halloween Installation
    Dates: October 25 to Nov 1
    Location: College Park, 444 Yonge Street
    Enjoy beautiful fall-themed decorations and explore spooky installations that celebrate the season and bring the Halloween spirit to life and enhance the aesthetic appeal of Downtown Yonge.These events welcome audiences of all ages and admission is free. Thanks to the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) and Canadian Urban Institute for supporting local communities and revitalizing main streets.
