Spring’s most breathtaking bloom is making its grand return, Fleur de Roy, Ontario’s largest pick-your-own peony garden, will open for the season on May 31 for just 11 days. Nestled along the shores of Lake Saint Clair, this floral escape is a must-visit for flower fans, nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to welcome spring in full bloom.

Dates: May 31 – June 10 (weather permitting)
Location: Fleur de Roy, 6711 Angler Line, Dover Centre, ON
Tickets: $25 per person (includes 10 handpicked peonies) plus 15% promo code
Children: Free admission for ages 13 and under
Peonies: 150,000 blooms, 14 varieties, 4 colours (white, pink, coral, and red)
Additional Blooms: Cut & purchase at wholesale prices (priced by weight)
Pet Policy: No pets allowed to protect the delicate fields

Beyond the peony fields, your 3-hour ticket includes access to 10 acres of scenic conservation land, with peaceful trails, towering trees, and picnic areas to enjoy. On both weekends (May 31 to June 1 and June 7 to 8), The Tipsy Shire (@thetipsyshire) will offer non-alcoholic drinks, including a peony-inspired mocktail and snacks. Plus, floral artist Syd Kemsley (@kemsleyflorist) will be leading peony flower arranging workshops once per weekend — a lovely hands-on way to soak in the beauty of the blooms.

With peonies boasting one of the shortest bloom seasons (only 11 days!), this is a fleeting natural wonder you won’t want to miss. Plan ahead and book early!
