Toronto’s MICHELIN-Starred Aburi Hana debuts chef Ryusuke Nakagawa’s 8-course Timeless Collection Menu

Aburi Hana, Toronto’s MICHELIN-starred fine dining destination, is launching its Timeless Collection Menu, an exclusive 8-course Kyō-Kaiseki experience available for $300 per guest. Running from January 22 to February 8, with seatings available from 5:30 PM-8:30 pm, this menu is being introduced while Executive Chef Ryusuke Nakagawa is away for culinary partnership development. The Timeless Collection Menu represents a culmination of chef Nakagawa’s creativity and expertise, with each dish personally designed as a reflection of his signature approach to Kyoto-style dining. It features a selection of his favourite dishes from past menus, crafted with premium seasonal ingredients sourced locally and from Japan. This thoughtfully curated experience offers seven savoury dishes and one dessert, blending traditional techniques with Chef Nakagawa’s innovative flair. 

Kyō-Kaiseki, a centuries-old Kyoto-style dining tradition, is renowned for its meticulous attention to detail and celebration of seasonal ingredients. The Timeless Collection Menu continues this tradition, incorporating Chef Nakagawa’s hallmark flame-seared techniques and his innovative use of both Japanese and local ingredients. Each course is designed to immerse guests in a multi-sensory experience, elevating traditional Kaiseki into a distinctly modern dining journey.
